Mooncake Festival

Went to Aquarius for it's mooncake festival celebration yesterday. Reached grandma's house at around 12 plus for lunch... lazed around watching TV. The programme started at 2pm. But while they were still setting up their stuff, they blasted music... and i heard Sammi's song...LoL
At first I went down with my parents... nothing much to do... coz no coupons yet... but mum went for some massage by the visually handicap. HAha... think they really use all their strength !!! Could see the "funny" expression on mum's face. Muahahahaha... I didn't wait for her...so i went upstairs.
I went down again at abt 3pm with ah yi. She's the official resident...i'm the 挂名 resident. LoL... then i actually sat in the function room to play tombola until 6 plus. Bought some snacks from the stalls also in btw the games. LoL... Didn't win la...juz got luckier as the rounds went by. Last round, i juz missed 1 number to get full house T.T
After that, we bought some food upstairs and had our dinner too. Didn't go down again for their night activities. Nothing much also...juz some performances... They had Aquarius Idol !!! OMG... the ppl can't really sing...except for this girl. Not bad la... I watched it from upstairs...(granny's room faces the pool =p) Then juz lit up the latterns and hung them at the balcony.
Sunday morning went to church...GOSH...the guest speaker was soooo damn boring...that i started to doze off again. -.-''' Went back to Bedok Ria again... this time i cleared some rack and i brought back an album of Sammi photos which i took while she was here on promo for I-concert a few yrs back=)
Later in the night, went to Pasir Ris... supposed to 赏月with Yvonne and family. -.-''' She made mooncakes...but honestly, i dun like mooncakes !!!! Only took a tiny slice to 应酬 a bit. Just played with Kate and Chloe and they walked around the garden carrying their lanterns. The both of them quite cute la !! Just a little messy =p Came home, and mini-celebration again. LoL...juz more food. Sliced up the ONLY mooncake we have at home, opened the pomelo and took out the yams, and peanuts and this black thingy... all the stuff supposedly for 过节. That 1 mooncake also cannot finish... Shows how much we LOVE mooncakes !!!!

Lotsa disturbing reports nowadays about her hands, legs and head... -.-''' Trying to not be bothered by them. The sight of those reports juz puts me off. Just hope that Mi is alright... shall wait for her to tell us more in sbs when she's ready. She'll be pretty busy with all the promos for ER.

Eventful Sunday

Hmm...nothing much has been happening the past few days. I guess the most happening day so far should be sunday.
Went to church in the morning... worship time is always the best part esp with the band !! I yearn to play with the music group 1 day... LoL The previous night, i slept quite late becoz of the waiting of the awards results for venice film fest. Feeling a lil disappointed, didn't sleep immediately after it. So when pastor was having his sermon...gosh....my eyes were closing !!! -.- Sometimes when he speaks very hard to understand one....his pronounciation is a bit bad (opps!) He eats up his words sometimes... =p It was hard to keep awake during that 30-40mins sermon....*yawns*
Went for lunch then went back to Bedok Ria for more packing... LoL...we are really taking our own sweet time... my piano aint in Waterina yet !!!! >.< Mum went to Auntie Rose's house with ah yi and grandma.... i didn't want to go coz i am not 熟 with her family. So pack my room lor... cleared another drawer of stuff. This time it was all the letters i have kept all these years... not those from pri or sec skool with dot, grace, lena etc... But those sent to me by good friends i have known becoz of Sammi =) I read thru some of them and reminisce the good times. I haven't kept in touch with Jo for a long long time... i wonder how is she now... the last time i saw her was when she bought the KL Sammi shocking colours concert tix for me. I wonder if she still stays in the same addy. We used to chat using ICQ (the old days...LoL) which i dun use now... no hp no becoz during sec skool, hp not popular yet .... -.-''' I hope i can find her again... Then another HK friend Sammi...also Sammi Cheng..waahahaha...but not my idol. Found her randomly thinking she was a Mi fan... but apparently not. But she did become a good da jie too !!! Another person whom i haven spoken too for a darn long time !!!!
This also makes me think about ding ding jie jie, sue sue and melly !!! Another 3 very good friends i've made thru Sammi. I wished i could turn back the clock and go back to the times when we really chat every min of the day. Eating and sleeping in front of the comp doing silly things like...singing and the webcam !!! LoL
After packing 1 drawer, i was tired. I dozed off while waiting for dad to finish packing his stuff. LoL... the piggie-ness in me is out again... This is what 3 yrs of NTU hall life has instilled in me... PIGGIE-NESS !!! LoL... We went home....i didn't want to do anything except to "nua" in front of the TV. Supposed to go bowling with dad (he was enthu...not me) but we received a call from mum- Invitation for steamboat dinner at Auntie Rose's house.
OMG...so we travelled all the way to Clementi for dinner -.-''' But when the car stopped outside, it was breathe-taking.... WOW....HUGE HUGE BUNGALOW...ALL NICELY RENOVATED...3 STORIES !!!!! Inside even nicer... open kitchen concept, 3 42" LCD TVs 5-6 bedrooms....a very lovely attic and garden.... WAH WAH WAH... beautiful house.... renovation cost nearly 4 mil. *faintz* Aunite Rose is really a rich tai tai !!!! The 3 kids also quite spoilt i guess... want wad also have.... their carpets are specially tailored for them with their names imprinted !!! -.-''' 2 big cars at the porch... gosh... it's really a dream house !!!! (hello my friends...where are all the rich guys u all supposed to help me find ??? I nid a rich husband tooo !!!)
Dinner was good... all the steam boat ingredients quite up to standard although it was a last minute decision !!! Full full full...hehehe... Some were good stuff brought back from Melaka coz aunt rose's sister came for a visit and brought a car-filled of food. It's those 7 seater huge car... aunt rose said the ppl muz be thinking, either she lives in such a ulu place where no food is available, or she's too poor to afford anything tt's why the sister bring out so many things... LoL But the truth was... Melaka's food is nicer than SG... LoL Laughter filled the dining area... good for them to meet up again =)
My sunday hasn't been that filled for quite some time !!! LoL...

End of Venice Film Festival

Mood is kinda dampened.... Sammi didn't win the Best Actress...neither did Lee Ying Ai. It landed in some other actress' hand... i dun know who she is actually. =p
But overall, ER did get an award.... so i suppose it's a consolation.
Everyone was so excited about the awards.... this is the first night that i've seen SC members so united. Everyone sitting by their comps waiting to knwo the results so that if Mi wins, we can all embrace the happiness together... We were all too excited....within an hr...our thread had 14 pages worth of posts and there was rip trying to calm us down with some mind-twisting pics and annitse with some "cold jokes". [thanks dears =) ] Some of them were eating away to keep their minds off a little....waahahahah...there was yong tau fu, sushi, ham toast....LoL
ER did receive good and bad critics... i'm looking forward to watching it. Opens in cinemas on the 6th October...my dear friends have to watch it with me....(u guys know who u are....LoL) I haven watched it but i believe that Mi put in a lot of effort (from the trailers). Although she didn't bag any award this time, she stepped into an international film festival and many international ppl have come to knwo who she is. HEard that many foreign film makers were interested to know more about her and her background...magz stated that she's the best actress in HK... LoL they forgot BEST SINGER too...
I'm proud to be a Mi fan...supporting her all these 10 years.... 郑秀雯。。。我的骄傲 ！！ U've made it to the red carpet =) LOVE MI FOREVER !!! She's d BEST !!!! =)

Once again presenting.... my elegant pretty classy idol... Sammi Cheng =) These are pics she took from a media interview. But look at her right wrist.... looks as if she has many bruises.... *heartbroken* But someone reported that it's only an allergy... i hope so too....

Our lucky girl Fifi in SC had face to face talk with all the cast and of course Sammi =) I am sooo happy for her.... I guess if Fifi really didn't have enough, Mi would have offered some $$$$$$$$ OMGOMGOMG.... i am estatic !!!! LoL

Oh....and ER's theme song is finally heard over radio.... It sounds good though.... not that sadistic and slow.... Sammi's first partnership with Anthong Wong (Ming gor). I've been playing it over and over and over again...hehehehee

According to Fifi, Mi will only walk the red carpet again if the film or SHE gets an award.... *prayzzz* I wanna see Mi on hte red carpet againnnnn !!!! The media was full of praise !!!!!!

Chinese media have critic that their high expectations of SAmmi has been lowered much after viewing the premier juz for media. Apparently they said that there's still the canto slang in it and there isn't much progess in the movie for her acting. WTHHH ...they were juz full of praises and now this. I've heard her on the tv-call... her mandarin has improved A LOT for hte past 8 months. I believe in her and that she put her all into ER. The foreign media still like ER and thus, there is still hope becoz ultimately, they are the judges...

Results will be out tmr....i really hope the movie wins something .....*prayz*
