Maple Story Night

Had a tough time studying for HI. The book was definitely 130 pages more than M5. They said it was hard to pass....but i did it =) Just that i still have no idea if i am gonna join PhilCap.
Well, it was a night full of maple story for me. I lvl-ed up to 30 and went on to my 2nd job...a Cleric with healing ability =) Walked half of Victoria Island from Kerning back to Ellinia.

After becoming a cleric, I scrolled back to Kerning to start on PQ. LoL...i will never forget this night. I didn't sleep even after the tough time studying for HI. Maybe it's the mocha i had with dinner after the paper at 9.30pm. It was hard to PQ before becoming cleric...most prob is due to the time. But after that i found a group. Well, we were switching channels non-stop. And we finally got it. I think we did more than 10 PQs. But during 1, the leader AFK inside...mother found him still playing...scold him...LoL...but we got kicked out...he AFK-ed for 1/2hr :S
Obviously i got many items from quest...gold ores, diamond ores, black crystal ores, scrolls, earrings, unagi etc...To prevent myself from lvl-ing, i actually went to suicide 6 times with the ligators....LoL
Unforgettable night...1st time....i was still playing when the sun rose....and my leader...he's a mad kid... he didn't sleep and juz went to get ready for skool...Haha...1st time i became so addicted...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Finally finished the book ming lent me during hte BBQ. haha...sounds like quite some time ago. I read it whenver i was bored without the comp or while waiting or when there's nothing to do. LoL... and yes...i think i'm addicted to it. =p It's much better than reading mangas !!!
I actually finished it in the wee hours of Sunday morning. hehe....supposed to be reading for the M5 exam. But couldn't be bothered. I happily put down the text and picked up Harry Potter. LoL. I get a better idea of the movie we watched 'x' yrs ago...haha... Now i feel like watching hte movies again...anyone has Harry Potter vcd or dvd to lend me ??
I kept wondering why normal ppl are called muggles. HAha...well, i guess it's becoz ppl have to mug !! haha...but wizards and witches do have exams too...hmm... But for now....i am part of the muggles...(hehe...=p), mugging for a paper on tues...
I shall pick up the next bk on tues night ....

Mr & Mrs Smith

Caught the movie on a Saturday afternoon at Cineleisure.
Brad Pitt still looks as charming as ever....tsk tsk... Angelina Jolie looks good tooo...gorgeous !!! Her complexion is sooo smooth !!! *envious* Very hiliarous movie...had a good time laughing. But it's always the case that the actors/actresses never get injured seriously no matter how bad their fall/hit is. LoL...They ALWAYS SURVIVE !!!
Walked around before having dinner. Ah yi treated me to California Kitchen (???) at Forum. As usual, she always has her 1-for-1 credit card deals. haha...the food was as good as the deal. Yummy pastas...makes me think back about my Italy trip juz a month ago... Then we walked to Crystal Jade at Scotts...they have this newly opened desert bar. The mango sago with pomelo was delicioussssss... Also ordered some apple and aloe vera tea. Lotsa dried and green apples in the pot. Reminds me of the serial 心花放 where Kenix had a shop “一杯花茶 ” They were supposed to have a desert bar concept. But ended up serving their "la mian" in that area as well. oh goshh...the whole concept and atmosphere was a flop. Haha...but again..food was good.

More shopping....

Went out since 2.30pm for more hunting for furniture and appliances. Finally reached home at 9.30pm.
First went out to buy bedroom lights....not that it's very very fantastically nice but acceptable and cheap. Haha...but becoz delayed for a week, the 5% discount disappeared...always the case. Then went to Park Mall to look at more furniture. Dining table, coffee table, side table, master bedroom's dresser, side table etc... OMG...so many shops and yet nothing really nice. The nice ones are those with metal finishing...too cold for our design. *sighhh* Not the 1st time hunting already. Just repeat visits to see if there's anything new. Finally saw some more acceptable looking piecese of furniture. But didn't buy again. Coz the colour of the wood seems to be a bit too dark. So KIV again. Then went to the lighting shop to find master bedroom lights. Found a nice globe. But so damn expensive. Cost of that 1 light = cost of lights of the 2 other bedrooms (or maybe even more). Saw a table lamp for myself...thought it looked nice. But salesman said more for decorative purpose. So KIV again.
Walked over to PS again to look at TV, fridge. Decided that we bring our "faithful" washing machine over. I think the BEST DENKI guy knows us very well by now. We've been walking for countless times and always never decide. Today we FINALLY bought our new LCD Philips. Cost a bomb. No plasma coz it takes up more electricity. This Philips though expensive, looks much nicer than the rest. Even images are much sharper and the sides of the TV have lights too !!! tsk tsk... After looking at soooo MANY fridges, i think should be settling for the LG one. Now...white or silver ????

My thoughts...

The tone of the voice really means a great deal. You say something and u mean it in maybe a kind way. But the listener receives the message as perhaps being unkind or mean.
I guess this always happens...but it happens more frequently at home for me. Well, it juz happened again that's why i'm blogging about it. I didn't go out today with my parents. Stayed home coz my tummy felt as if it was doing somersaults. So i lazed around reading Harry Potter and playing MS and watching TV... MS sucked la...i can't do the jumping quest...only managed to get thru the 1st stage. Waiting for dear ming ming the expert jumper to help me. >.<
And when they got home, i was having my shower... I went into my parents room and only to find mum inside. Her first sentence was trying to ask what i did. But the tone of her voice... it was as good as saying what constructive stuff have i done. Sounded as if she was so blardy unpleased with me for not going out. Yeah...and up till now the only sentence i spoke to her was my reply.
Since i dun know when...i prefer keeping some stuff to myself. I dun see the need to be telling them every single move i take. Maybe it's due to staying in hall ?? haha..i dunch know. The other day at Uncle TL's house, he also said that parents should not probe too much to ask every nitty gritty detail for our whereabouts. I wonder how much of that did my mum absorb...

Hmm...i dun blog often anymore...i dun think anyone (ppl i know) blogs often now... Has the blogging fever subsided ???
Well, for the past week...Monday went out for KTV with ming ming and binny. FINALLY. I miss ktv !!! haven't been there since the last time i went with Alvin and YY i think. Had so much fun with them...if only Hui was there also....this time only MBC outing. It was soooo damn funny hearing ming ming trying to find her key. She's damn funny when it comes to singing....tt's when she doesn't sing properly...-.-'''' I WANT MORE KTV !!!! HMBC !!! =p
We had a full day outing which ended at almost 12am (time i reached home). KTV, dinner...佛跳墙 hehe...yummy....and movie and McD "supper". Going back to the dinner...hmm...only $8.90 taste quite good leh... but mum said the stuff they gave are all those vegetarian kind...BUT BUT BUT the taste of the food was there...it tasted REAL. hmmmz....
Movie...Magadascar...funny....really funny. Haven't laughed so hard in a movie...the last movie...i can't remember...is it that teary korea movie ?? haha....Oh...Ade and CX joined us for it.
Supper...McD...well not exactly supper for me and ming. A bit more sinful for me coz i ate ice-cream *drools* It was dinner for Ade and CX and supper for binny. Her worm is in action again. She juz eats too much at the wrong time. When i nid her tummy she tell me no appetite...-.-''''''

Tuesday went out for lunch at Hyatt Hotel with grandma and Ah yi... she juz came back from Bali and she was telling me how good it was...haihz... I SHOULD HAVE GONE !!!! *sad* Food at Mezza9 was good. I saw a guy eating sashimi sushi...so delicious !!! Ah yi said can treat me again coz the UOB Platinum card got 50% discount for 2 ppl...33% for 3 ppl...heehehe....We walked around and landed in Tangs...where i bought my leather boots !!! another FINALLY !!! I've been looking for a pair for a VERY LONG time...either too expensive or not nice...This pair had 50% discount and Ah yi had some rebates...so now i have my boots from Tangs & Co. =) Ah yi bought a pair of hmm....leather slippers...haha...so damn expensive...w/o disount was $199. *faintz* but after discount etc..cost her $89. Had to bluff grandma the price...hehe...otherwise she will nag at her again...tsk tsk....
After that, went to Waterina AGAIN...to meet the designer Mandy for changes and stuff...work's gonna start soon...i hope my room turns out good. Oh and decided i should juz get the s/single mattress. =) So my platform will look bigger.
It was back to grandma's house after Waterina to collect the raspberry vodka ah yi got from DFS and the clubmed slippers she bought for us from Bali =)

2 fruitful days of outings...so Wednesday and Thrusday stayed at home...except for the "visits" to Waterina AGAIN...more measurements....

Friday....guitar lesson at 4pm. Then walked around PS...saw some old friends but it was juz a hi-and-bye...all with bfs...den shopping for more stuff...compared the fridges, washing machines, and LCD tv...and went to the stainless steel shop to buy all the accessories for kitchen and bathroom. Shifting is quite a chore...hahaha...

I did send an email to feedback about the taxi service i received last friday.
Hmm... muz say that the officers are efficient. Well, this time i was asked to state the pick-up point so that they can further investigate. Hmmm... should i reply to the email? Afterall, i do not want to destory that driver's rice bowl as ming said. It was really dangerous driving... my purpose of sending the email was to highligh the matter and that the message of safe driving could be passed on. Well, even my teacher asked me to "complain" coz it was dangerous for the passenger and other road users which i totally agreed.
Now i'm only thinking if i should reply .... hmmm.....what should i do ???
