1/3 Relievedddd

1/3 Relief was when we finished our AA306 presentation. We all didn't catch much sleep. So all very stony and zombie. Felt guilty for falling asleep during LKW's lecture. He's quite a good lecturer. Goes through everything in detail. But i was tooo tired to listen. Reason being...slept at 3.45am and woke up at 6am to get back to skool. Perhaps if i had the energy to listen, i wouldn't have such a hard time reading up on the topic of "Translation and Remeasurement".
During presentation, as usual, LKW ask a lot of questions. YY and Alvin presented Q1. And i must say that i was impressed with YY's ability to answer all LKW's qns...CX and QY took Q2. This time, i think LKW was not very pleased that nobody else raised doubts of our answers. Only the same few people around him answered...then he said...if we don't do and practice the consol, no need to think of passing exam and waste of time going lesson. This is something which i totally agree and something which i fumbled last semester....lack of practice.
Finally it was my turn to present. Quite scary at first. Super nervous. Didn't know what LKW would ask me :S anyway, he asked me to explain each of the entries in the CJEs and how the figures were derived. Luckily was prepared to explain. But can see that i was still uncertain about some stuff la. But overall, we still got a quite good grade. Unless he gave the other groups a even better score !!! Haha
Alvin brought camera....said take pics coz last time in formal wear. i still have one more formal to go on friday....perservere !!!

Leeching session

Woke up a little bit later....i switched off the alarm clock...was tooo tired to get outta bed.
Anyway, dad went to pick grandma...mum was doing the household chores...so she asked me to fry eggs and boil the vege before they reached home. 4 eggs for me to experiment...only the 1st one not so nice...coz the egg yolk burst when i cracked it into the pan =( but the rest quite nice la...hehe... we had 肉骨茶 for lunch.
My MS was switched on...though i didn't get to play much. about 15 mins ?? then i had to cook. Then daroz and mageslacker logged on also. So i stayed there to leech exp. HAHAHAHA but i got kicked out of server...SADZ
anyway, after lunch, i went logged in again....once again...didn't play. Just LEECH LEECH and LEECH !!! while i do my presentation stuff. So much to do again today !! sad life... Thanks daroz and mageslacker !!! I wan to lvl up !! I wan new clothes..i'm kinda sick of what i'm wearing now =p

A Burnt out saturday

Reached home at almost 11 plus on friday night. But i still had to read materials for AB312 project. I think i was just tooo tired....even though i prepared water and some snacks to my room, i fell asleep not long after...perhaps about 2 something ?? and all i read was 1 plus chapter. Haven't done report.
Mum came in to my room to find that all my lights were switched on during hte night....and i was sleeping with my specs on. I nearly jumped up when i found out i slept thru....i quickly woke up at about 7 plus to continue with the extra readings and remaining chapter. However, i wasn't fast enough to finish before Aba, Michelle, Ziwei and YJ came. Felt guilty that i didn't finish my part when all of them were editing. Anyway, i kinda researched and wrote my stuff while they were editing.
Had lunch coz mum cooked. Michelle wanted "free-lunch". But i think i fed her and aba with too much of Lays that they didn't eat much.... -.-'''' I joined them editing after lunch. But Michelle soon started to do BM211 report. In the end, ziwei and I also started to help out with BM211 report leaving aba and yj to do most of the AB312 report.
We did project practically the whole day !!! Started at about 9.30am....aba and yj left about 5 plus coz aba had to go somewhere....then michelle, ziwei and I continued with BM211 almost until nearly 8pm. So damn tired and brain dead !!!! michelle even fell asleep!!!
After they all left, i stayed downstairs...had dinner, watched a bit of TV...but soon after fell asleep. Have been sleeping on and off until 11-12plus. Took a shower and now sitting here.
I still have to finish my AA306 stuff !!!! Maybe tomorrow morning...shall wake up early again. Too tired to do anything now...

Finally to guitar again...

Nothing much done in the morning....went for tutorial....
then met Alvin, YY, CX and QY for AA306. But didn't discuss much la. Oh...Alvin and I went to FAL to email Prof Lee about my Qn 3. We were kinda had so many versions for depreciation in our enquiry email. But suddenly, somehow, we were just enlightened. So solved 1 prob.
about 2 something, we left coz Alvin got lesson. YY, CX and I went to SRC coz YY needed to collect her "pretty tuff" t-shirt. Then we walked to canteen 2 to eat waffle and ice-kachang. The waffle was good. But the ice-kachang...the ice was a little bit too coarse. So v difficult to eat . Can't bite...so waited for it to melt lor.
We took the bus back to hall....haha...after we saw YY's expression change when say wan to walk back... LoL....take bus also good la since the weather so hot. Dun know lack of exercise or wad....climb up back to room also tired !!! Hahaha....oh....and they booked badminton court for next thurday.
Reached room...wanted to play MS but somehow stupid MS updating patch again...Arrghhh...so ended up playing Solitaire on MSN with ade. In the beginning, i was still quite attentive and fast with my reaction. But soon after ...i juz slowed down and i fell asleep while clicking.
Suddenly woke up to find that i didn't have much time left to pack. Qutie a lot of things to bring back coz of all the presentations next week. After next week, i will be so relieved !!!
Finally went back for guitar today. Miss Tey said felt as if she hasn't seen me for quite sometime !!! LoL As usual, i didn't touch my guitar for almost 3 weeks so i asked her to give me an easy score =p Music is always a relaxation for me....Really enjoy myself most immersed with music !!! I LOVE MUSIC !!!!

Don't Know How to Do !!!

I am still stuck with 306 seminar 5 Qn 3. Am doing my readings so that i can do that question. Although it is the 2nd time i am doing it, it's as if it's the 1st time i really try to understand what is going on. I wouldn't dare to take it for granted that i know everything. For, if i knew how to do everything, i don't think i would be in this class right now. Treat me as a 1st timer....I have my doubts too....

Slack Day

Last night or rather i slept only early this morning. Had to type out the BM211 stuff then start doing something about hte 306 presentation. And yes, i still dislike it very much. I just feel that no matter wad i read or do, my level of understanding that module is still so minimal. Anyway, as wad ppl always tell me, it's only a few more months and i'll be outta NTU.
I think it was 3 ++am that i saw that YY updated her blog. She wrote long chinese story again. Then i saw the comments others gave her also in chinese. i think my chinese standard really drop alot since JC days.
Unsure of what time i actually dozed off, i dragged myself up in the morning at about 9 plus coz discussion with 306 group at 10.30am. But we only reach canteen A at 11. Haha...as usual, we take our own sweet time. Had an early lunch cum breakfast den went to look for a bench to work. Seeing stars but there was still some discussion and i did pick some stuff up la. anyway, i have to present Qn3...the dreadful consolidation. we were stuck halfway during hte discussion and i have no idea if i will be able to manage to come up with some answers by friday.
After discussion, went to the international food feast. Just took a walk around the audi la. But think some stores are the same as last yr. Still see the same kinda Dutch ice-cream which fascinates so many ppl. Alvin bought egg tarts instead of pineapple tarts. (but he said not nice la...hahha...who ask u change ur mind...LoL) Then walk back to hall with him while the others went for their 304 class.
Reached my room, i finally picked up the Faye Wong Concert VCD which YY passed to me like 2 weeks ago. Was i really that busy and occupied that i didn't have time to watch ?? Halfway the concert, i was certain that Faye's concert is one which i wouldn't wan to watch live. She has good vocals la...some songs are nice (not all..some not my type of song) but she has no rapport with the audience and she doesn't engage with her audience at all !!! And the whole time. she juz stands and sing...her costumes....hmmz...still acceptable la. Sammi's concerts are still on top my list. Other HK singers also included la...Hacken and Alan's concert.
Watch halfway, i fell asleep. So tired that didn't realise never set any alarm....juz dozed off until almost dinner time. As usual, dinner and TV. Then went ade's room. Oh...she got her single room !!! She can finally get rid of her roomy and the pillow-smelling extra person. Walked pass Hall 12 function hall to catch a bit of Hall 12 Idol. Quite sad la...since FOC, i haven't been in touch with my freshies and the other hall mates. Felt kinda isolated when everyone was sitting inside together while i just stood outside to watch.
Then played MS the whole night lor...and now it's 3 something ....Alvin and CX joined us today and Ade's MS was finally working. So our party had 5 of us. And we took pics....ming...i wan the pics !! Also did PQ la...but a bit sianz...didn't understand wad was going on. Juz follow like a blind bat lor. Got time frame for PQ...so ask qn they also dun answer me. The wait was so darn long also. So i read BM211 lor.... if had to wait somemore, confirm sleep in front of the screen.
Didn't do much...so today is SLACK DAY. A break today, work tomorrow. =)

Tiring Tuesday

The day started early morning with BM211. oh...the only exciting thing...i bought sausage egg mcmuffin on my way to class =) Today got presenting group...and yah...next week is my turn. Another presentation after 306. Our case not that easy afterall. After class we immediately discussed before our 311 lecture. Came up with some points lor. But i think everyone tired and drained already. It didn't turn out as michelle planned la...no lunch afterall...we bought fries into the LT.
Shoba Das and her long lecture. She really best sia....10 pages of slides...those 6-in-1 and she takes like slightly more than 1 hour to go thru. So amazing like never have full-stop....maybe that's the characteristic of 有颜色的人. Haha....i picked that phrase from YY's blog. then the consultancy company person for hte simulation talked to us about the simulation thing lor. will be interesting if we're very free la. super a lot of work !!!! -.-'''
Den after lect, another discussion for 312. A bit better la...a bit more ideas...didn't take that long. But it only means a lot a lot of work for these few days. Especially A LOT A LOT A LOT of readings. But i think our 312 topic is one of the easier ones =) luckily michelle help me a bit la...lessen my workload LITTLE bit. She volunteered to take a bit more to do. THANKS MICHELLE =)
Now at this hour i still have to prepare tmr's discussion. AM I GONNA SURVIVE THIS WEEK ?!?!!??!

bought snacks juz now after dinner. to keep me awake la...but but...everyone is like eating less (e.g CX....dun know he diet for wad) and from YY's blog..she ate fish coz healthier choice. Errmmm...eat green apple first. =p
Hmmz...ade feeling upset about hte Lo'real thingy. I know she put in a lot of effort and she enjoyed the process. I guess it's easy for anyone to tell her to take it easy...process is the impt bit etc... but she doesn't feel good losing to the lousiest group in marketing. Anyway, juz wan to tell her...ADE, you are not lousy !!!!

Dreadful Monday

It's monday again...dread it so much coz 1) need to wake up early to get back to hall 2) 8.30am 306 lecture and for today, there's a 3) 306 seminar. Oh oh..and 4) muscle-ache from yesterday's badminton (i feel so old...aching everywhere *sobz*)
Already felt sooooo drained after lecture. Thanks to Prof Pearl Tan with all her consol journal entries making my head feel so big. 2nd time listening to it, could understand bit more but still not totally. Guess at least Alvin and CX still can explain to me a bit and discuss. not like last sem...anyway, by the break Prof Tan gave, i kinda switched off already. But still nid to push on although not absorbing much or rather the minimal.
Went for brunch...didn't eat the kaya bread mum made. Reached hall and headed straight for hte bed. haha... ate from the vegetarian stall. Hmm..and to kill time, we were told 2 lame jokes by Alvin. Hmmz...or should i say racist jokes.
Then went reading room to read the 306 case for seminar while waiting for YY, Alvin, CX and QY. Met michelle to take 312 readings to photocopy. and yah..i end up bringing hte other 2 copies of notes back and i have to bring it back again tmr....-.-""" Then went to have some coffee to prevent myself from falling asleep in seminar. Finished up the bread mum prepared too. I think it's 306. whenever i read, i have a tendency to feel sleepy.
Today's presenting group....abit too strong. Everything also can answer. Felt lost at times. But juz copy la...Our tutor...Prof Lee....scary guy. Everythign and anything also can ask. Next week our turn to present, dun know how we die. Need lotsa prayers !!! AND AND AND ...i noticed Prof Lee likes looking at my group. His facial expression like telling me to open my mouth and ask some questions. Maybe i always got the blur "huh" look on me. LoL But scary la....so many place to look also dun look. As usual, i juz look down on my paper and continue writing. LoL...Last seminar also like that. -.-""" scared next wk he bomb us. Anyway, lotsa stuff to catch up on...
While we walked back, got this mini-bazzar ?? And there was this Biore stall....and they had this competition. Must stick the black head removal nose strip and take photo !!! and somehow we all joined in. Guess this is like the 1st time i'm doing such a dumb thing. Hope nobody sees that pic pinned up.....*hides*
Feeling sleepy but didn't sleep. Scared once i sleep, not enough....after dinner feel like sleeping even more. haihhz..

Heard the entire CD on the net ...not mp3 though...so not illegal k.... Have been listening to it the whole weekend. and I LOVE IT !!!
In some ways, Hocc sounds like Anita...but she's still got her own style...another unique treasure in the HK music industry.

My all time favourite would be track 3 (如无意外) and track 7 (明目张胆）．For track 3, the forepart of Anita's 孤身走我路　and for track 7, the front of Danny Chan's 等 were included．Must say that they were very well blended into her numbers.
Besides Sammi, she's the next singer whom i would fully support !!
Review of the album shall come later when i have the time.
In the meanwhile, HOCC RAWKS !!!! =)

Decision....Thinking Caps On Plsss

Just came back from the career talk by the Accountant-General's Office. Gained a little more insight about what they do. Suprisingly... hardly any debits and credits. There was a lady who is even doing policy-making although still finance based. I think they do have quite an interesting job scope.
After their talk, had some refreshments outside the Lt. Haha...i muz say this is one of the 1st talk i have been to that offers refreshments. For once, i would say that civil servants not that cheapskate !!! Haha... so while eating some stuff and drinking, Huili and I were talking to the employees who came down to talk to us. We asked some questions to understand them more. Work hard...not easy but play hard too. I think it's definitely the same everywhere no matter what job u take. But BUT BUT.....gave me a new picture of the civil service. That 6 months in DOS painted another picture... AGD more work-driven, more challenging.
However, they explitcitly stated that they only want candidates with 2nd upper or 1st class honours degree. So...i guess, it will never be my turn ... I know where i stand... The lady also told us that if we don't want to be an accountant, there no point joining the Big 4 and wasting our time there. Looks like the Big 4 isn't really the right place for me afterall. Wonder what my uncle will say during CNY if i say i'm not interested in Big 4. LoL Or rather, they are also not interested in me.
Need to go for more talks before i can make my decision....Career fair coming up soon...Oh...still haven't got UOB's invitation. Did I submit too late ?? *sobz*

Had a terrible headache last night. Was talking on MSN with quite a few people den suddenly, my head felt as if it was gonna blast...so i went to lie on bed...and fell asleep until this morning...

Gums Story....

Last night went home coz today had to go to visit the dentist. Kinda missed my bed although only slept in hostel for 1 night....:p
So this morning about 11am, went to visit Dr Goh because my gums are hurting so much !!! *sobz* Can't remember when the pain actually started....but it's all because my upper 2 front teeth has a slight gap between. Couldn't eat properly.... have been eating porridge and softer food these few days.
Anyway, Dr Goh said that i got gum infection. The gap between my teeth caused more plague deposit and it stimulated growth of gum. So which means, i have gum over-growth. It's swollen and red. but not serious until nid anti-biotics. He numbed my gums and did some cleaning. And it still hurt !!!! wonder if there was any numbing- effect at all.
The worst thing he actually said that if the swelling didn't subside and my gums were still over- grown, then i have to go back to him and cut off the over grown gums. Totally disgusted. I can't imagine the pain that i would have to go through. And definitely a good idea to close up the gap in front in case anything else happens again. so it means braces ..... Adelene and Carolyn had their turn at braces and now it will be my turn soon.... Seems like my generation can't escape braces !!! LoL
All i hope now is that the swelling will go off and that i wouldn't have to go thru the cutting of gums which is freaking me out!!! Please keep me in ur prayers !! =)

Weekend Getaway...

Haven't written anything since 2nd day of skool...and it's now the 2nd WEEK of skool !! LoL
summary of wad happened....wednesday went to Seoul Garden with ming ming and ade. ate a lot...haha... fried prawns with garlic :p and we went to arcade to play daytona and this erm...some drummer set thingy. 3 ppl play 1 set...HAHAHA...Wed also the first 306 seminar... dreaded module. But, i will try my best!
Thursday...didn't do much stuff...oh...went home on thurs night =) Home Sweet Home. played MS at night in the comfort of my own room and aircon. Was supposed to do the party quest, but never succeeded...the wait was too long.
Friday...went to grandma's house for lunch. Go keep her company. She longs for someone to be there i think. She even said if she had an extra room, i could go stay there so that there'll be some voices in the house...hmmmz. Brought my textbk along...but i fell asleep reading. Then took the Aquarius shuttle out to take MRT to PS for guitar. And i tried standing outside QB House again to ask ppl for survey...thankfully, 2 kind souls helped me in that short time.
Saturday... mum was watching "shine on you" the whole morning till early afternoon...then we checked in to Corpthone King's Hotel @ Havelock Road. (Not that i'm rich...it's a complementary stay which my dad got !!!) Small tiny room. Upon seeing it, i wanted so much to go home !!! We walked around in Great World City. Haven't been there for quite some time. But didn't buy anything la. Couldn't find the shoes i wanted...sadz! most of the time ended up in furniture shops. mum really wants to shift to Waterina...hmmmz...but i'm reluctant !! I guess it's the bond i have with my house and room !!!!
Had a late dinner ....went back to the hotel room and mum & dad continued watching the serial while i tried to read my text again....a few pages...and knocked off !! HAHAHAHAA
Sigh....i'm having problem with my gums !!! Have trouble eating....stocked up so much in my room. but i think end up also drink water and eat the softest or smallest thing available. Had porridge for dinner... I wanna go home !!!! Wonder when is my dental appointment ....do i nid to wear braces ?

2nd Day of Skool

Oh dear me...i'm supposed to be doing my AA306 readings...but ermm....i'm doing everything but that. Read half of 1 reading...OMG...terrible me ~~ bad bad bad ~~
Lesson at 8.30am again. But it was exercise early morning...went to S4-SR10 den to discover, venue changed to S3-SR7. Everywhere renovation...construction, all like dead-end road. Up, down, up, down went Marilyn and Me. LoL...anyway, we were earlier than our tutor. He was this ermm...old-scruny-looking man. He kept adjusting his tie...looked as if he was choking on his tie. The usual self-introduction proceeded...but he wasn't happy. Said that's not hte type of communication. Oh well....wad can he expect from accountancy ppl....HAHAHAAHA
This funny looking tutor...Mr Peter Issac Low. Quite a funny guy i muz say. Although this course doesn't seem to be easy anyway. NOTHING'S EASY !!! He came up with a "game". 6 volunteers...had to come up with a topic and talk for 2 minutes. And and...I was one of the judges !! LoL...Something like SG idol la. anyway, we had topics like blogging, soccer and gambling, volleyball, labour ward etc.... den we chose 3 as finalist. Then the 3 were given the same topic by the tutor. They had to speak for 2 minutes. Pauses not for more than 15 seconds... haha... and the topic was....."I would like to kiss a girl/guy with no teeth because..." OMG...it was hiliarous !!! The 28 yr-old guy was a little more mature...so his answers were like all quite good la. He was the winner...but the other guy....HAHAAHAHAHAAH....one of his ans..."he would like to kiss a girl w/o teeth because there are no obstacles...very smooth... OMG OMG...i was practically laughing from the moment the spoke till the end...i was tearing badly !!! LOL But muz give credit to them la... so brave to talk about it. If me, confirm dumb-founded !!! HAHAAHAHA
Had another lecture at 1.30pm. Indian lady...rattle non-stop.... as if she doesn't know there's something called FULL STOP !!! Best...send her for longest breathe competition...confirm win grandma !!! LOL
Then went to print some stuff for tmr's 306 seminar. The queue for printing was shit. After queueing to pay, still had to wait another 45 mins for my stuff to get printed. Really dun understand those engineering ppl. They have notes on sale...no nid spend time to queue and print. Buy off the shelf...but juz coz the format not to their liking, the print .....each like print over 200 pages....some files humongously huge...took like a few minutes to complete. Waiting was hell there !!!

1st Day of Skool

3rd Jan...1st day of skool. Reached hostel at 7 something. But there was a terrible jam and mum was late for work after dropping me off at skool. Hmmmz...i'll get up earlier next week...I PROMISE !!! First lesson...@ 8.30am...lecture...my most dreadful module. I need some luck and lotsa hard work for this. Somehow, that 2 hours juz passed. Had brunch...den came back to my room. Supposed to change bedsheets. But somehow i procrastinated till the night. Anyway, i managed to change my 2 modules to YY's class and michelle's class. So, i'm no longer alone. That took up quite a fair bit of time. Anyway, no more worries about timetable matters. Ming was online playing MS again. And yes...she's lvl-ing up pretty fast....but i disappeared halfway...told her i was gonna rest.....but i ended up doing the timetable stuff.
Went for KTV at night with Alvin and YY @ Jurong East. 3 hours...we thought it was too short at first . But, the 3 hrs ended sufficiently somehow...Haha.. ^_^ By the way, had Long john's for dinner. We took the train back to boon lay. Then the idea of supper suddenly popped up in Alvin's mind...HAHAHHAa....coincidently, met cx at the 199 stop...then 4 of us took cab to boon lay market. YY and me juz sat there while the 2 guys had their nasi lemak. Took cab back to hall again. but this time, the taxi driver...arrghh....got so much knowledge...but his driving knowledge and street-direction sense = 0. Talked so much with Alvin about accounting stuff etc...but was a total idiot in driving. No sense of direction, can't read sign-board, wrong turning ...my goodness...wonder how he got his taxi license. Missed turning and blamed it that he was talking to us....made us spend about $1 more....

Happy New Year !!!

Had a New Year popiah party at our place yesterday. Woke up at around the usual time. Played a little MS with ming, before i went to cut french beans and and made more ice cubes. Then mum and dad came home quite soon after i was done. Did some odds and ends to help out (e.g. slicing and washing cabbage, shredding carrots, washing lettuce etc...)
About 4 plus, went out to pick up Ming and Ade from the station then went on to pick grandma (she got me fish n chips from the shop downstairs too !! ). As usual, the blur ming, the car was right in front of her and yet she missed me. Not only that, she cut my call somemore.... AArgghhh...as blur as her charactor in MS.
After they came, we de-shelled prawns, ade did her forte...cutting omelette, ming tried to slice lemon (haha...but maybe the skin was too thick ?? or she got no strength?? LoL) we helped out here and there then went to play twister. LoL... No stretching for i dun know how many years... kinda painful when playing...so much stretching !! Ade..yoga master...no problem la !
We had dinner...ate popiah and bee hoon, sat outside, crapped for a while. Oh...opened the bottle of vodka...and it's like...i still have A LOT LEFT !!!! ADE WHY DIDN'T U FINISH IT !??!?!!?
We played twister again...den felt tired....went on the uno stacko...den when ah hui came, went back to twister...haha...torture all the new-comers. Then yy and zhemin also had the same treatment....yy still wan to bluff me say she sprained her back... LoL (no escape my dear) Later, when alvin came, he played with the other 2 guys. Think coz they are naturally long, haha...they could like reach for every spot !!! They were in all sorts of weird positions !! LoL
Wonder why all mum's frends left so early before countdown... maybe becoz chiou yan and poh cheem didn't come. Hmmmz.... only left aunty lilian, aunty kathy and congo (the cleanest, prettiest doggie ever)!!
Felicia, Alvin, Zhemin, Ming and Ade played mahjong...and as usual, even after watching ppl play, i still catch no ball. Haha... Luckily ming brought her PS. Kinda mastered puzzle fighter after playing with yy and zhemin. But still cannot beat Ade. The night went on with ming's PS and mahjong....amazingly...everyone stayed till 7 with no sleep.
After ming left at about 12 plus, i watched a bit of tv and slept for the rest of the afteroon. Didn't eat much today. Somehow, i have no appetite....
2005...a brand new beginning...a new start for me....hope everything will go smoothly...
