Dirty work and a great dinner !! LoL

Woke up earlier today. Mum and Dad bought me breakfast from the market. Mum did the chilli and Dad cut the onions. I refused to cut the onions as i didn't want to tear !! and cutting those thin slices isn't easy !! But i did help to de-skin the onions the previous day. So what was left for me was to hang clothes.
After lunch, we went back to hall to do cleaning up. My oh my....it was kinda in a terrible state. Thanks to my previous room mate who didn't do any cleaning. Another task was to de-froze the fridge. Hmm....huge pieces of thick ice has been formed. Took quite some skill to get them out which dad managed !!! =) Oh...and i found out that someone stole my clothes rack and bathroom slippers. Sick. Year 3 hasn't been smooth at all. In the beginning, someone stole my mop and pail. Now this sickening idiot, took my towel out, placed it on the clothes line and stole my rack. If i ever catch that person, he/she's gonna get it ! As ade said, my rack is kinda unique...so easily spotted. Confirm muz write complain letter to hall 12 office. Damn. Thiefs are prevailing !!!
Then we left hall at about 5 plus and headed for Raffles City, where mum met Aunty Lilian to buy a house-warming gift for Aunty Susan. Quite a nice tea set they chose. After walking for a while, went for dinner.
We were at M Hotel @ The Buffet for dinner. STEAMBOAT !!!! It's really the best steamboat i've ever been to (outside), except the ones which we do at home =) Large variety. Even desert was soooo mouth-watering !! All the seafood was fresh. They even served drunken prawns !!! It seemed like a king's meal before i go to hostel next week and face the boring canteen food. Very very very filling !!! BEST DINNER !!!!! I LOVE STEAMBOAT!!!

Seeking for help on Boxing Day

Today supposed to do meet to do survey. But last minute, some changes had to be done to the forms. Finally, ade and i could meet to print out the stuff. Met ade at the MRT station bus stop den we took train to Bugis. Hmmz....i really wonder if ade's really a 无底洞 !! (that's wad she commented abt herself) LoL She gets hungry easily. But...hmmz...i got influenced. She eat, i eat. LoL....but thank goodness, i haven't been snacking at home.
Went to print the forms at Bras Basah....we decided to go ahead if the price was in the range of 3-5 cents/page. The shop really charge us within that range at 4 cents !! Still costs us $24 !! that reminds me that muz ask meiling to pay me !!! Then we walked to MacS to write serial number on the forms. Eat again...LoL Oh...btw...there was this guy sitting opposite me. Awful scene !!! He was like showing me his butt...literally his butt !!! A big guy with his pants erm...showing his butt. Thank goodness ade's bag was big enough to cover that unsightly scene for the time we were there.
Then we went back to Bugis Junction's QB House to start survey. Doing survey is really shitty work !!! We stood outside, and like only those young boys would help us. Still had to go buy sweets to give ppl who help us. FYP is a waste of time and MONEY !!! Anyway, it is really tough work !!! Ppl were avoiding us like plague !!! sighh....when will we ever finish ???

Merry Christmas!!

Only had 5 hours of sleep....and i'm was feeling sleepy the whole day. Dad went to rent the last few episodes of "Seed of Hope". He couldn't wait to finish and know the ending !! Haha....i guess all of us wanted to know wad happened in the end. The 3 of us did a marathon to finish the last few episodes....haha...even though dad had to catch a flight early morning...he also sat through!! Not missing any part of it !!! LoL Though the ending was quite predictable, but it was also kinda lame....

Went to church for Christmas service. 9.30 am !!! Which means i woke up at about 8-8.30am...haha....lazed in bed for some time...so reluctant to get outta bed !!! This year's service was somewhat different from the previous years. Not much carolling this time. But the worship songs today kinda touched me. It made me remember that HE is always there for me. Especially loved the hymn "Because He Lives"

2005 will be a new beginning for me. Doesn't matter if i didn't clear that module this time. Because He lives, all fear is gone. Oh oh....and at the end of service, pastor walked pass me, he shook my hand and greeted merry christmas....When i left, he like shook my hand another 2 times !!! So, a total of 3 times !! And he hands were wet and cold ?? Eeekkkssssssss Mum said he proli knew i haven't been going to church and he misses me....Hmmmz....freaky....

After church, came home. Mum and I were equally sleepy. I guess she was even more sleepy coz she woke up even earlier to fetch dad to the airport. We lazed at home for a while before going to granny's house. So tired that i fell asleep. Then ah yi woke me up juz to go swimming !! ARRGHHH...Was supposed to go to Auntie Lilian's church tonight. But we went for Japanese dinner at this real jap restaurant at Shaw Centre instead. HA HA HA !! That's because ah yi had voucher from her office's lucky draw. LoL. The salmon sashimi was FANTASTIC !!! But everything there is really expensive. A handroll there costs like $10 whereas in Sakae only $1.90 !!! I can eat like 5 handrolls in Sakae, give $10 and still got change !! haha !!! Anyway, am very thankful for the wonderful meal tonight.

Oh....and i finally bought Twister today. My heart nearly dropped when i couldn't find it at the Taka square. Really dun have !!! Think if really dun have, ming and ade will be disappointed next week!! But clever mum thought of going into Taka to find. Not many boxes left and was buried right below !! HAha !!

Tmr need to do FYP survey...haiihhhh....so not looking forward to it ....

SCREW UP NBS

Subject registration was to be done today. But due to some reason, i had to register in the morning whereas the others did theirs at 12pm. I had everything all done up. Managed to persuade Michelle to change index to join me. Everything was kinda settled. Then when it was their turn, the damn server screwed up. Darn lousy la...NBS & CITS sucksss... couldn't log in. It nearly took 1 hr before we could enter. Everyone was desperate. I could be relaxed as everything has been done. But somehow, this darn thing screwed up Michelle & gang's registration. Now, we're in diff class. That's when my anxiety surfaced. Some might think why must be in same class?? I guess it's just good to have someone you know in the class.
When it was 5pm, i entered again. Saw that my class, the vacancies were moving. I thought there was chance for my class to close and join Michelle's. But i guess, there's just something toying around with me. The vacacines from 23...fell to 15...10...etc... I kept calling, to ask whether they wanted to change...but it seemed as if nobody wanted to pick up. When 3 parties were willing, we couldn't reach Miss 4. I was so sick of calling her. Then end up...the 4 vacancies..now left 1. The gang's policy, if 1 change, all must change. Unless someone drops out from Michelle's class, i will be all alone. Damn. NBS SCREWED EVERYTHING UP!

Pretending that it didn't happen

Just another day for me. But it wasn't that normal i suppose. I did quite many things to distract myself from thinking about it. I cooked porridge, wrote out my timetable (couldn't escape this), helped mum to clean the outside...which includes scrubbing the floor and cleaning grills (tough work !! wondering if i'd have muscle-ache tomorrow due to the scrubbing :p), surfed the net to find some piano scores and played them for a while (long-time no touch), watched some tv, had dinner and played MS. Should be resuming MS in a short while tough.
Ming bought me a new wooden staff in MS....hehe...i'm lvl 1o now !!! Finally double digit :p Could wear the hat that ade gave me too. But now i look a bit too greyish....hopefully i lvl up soon...so i can get new clothes !!! Ming and Ade have been sponsoring everything on me !!! LoL...i'm the poorest !!!!

No mood....

Nothing much to pen down. Just feeling miserable today.
Oh and played MS with ming and ade again...kinda distracted me for 2 hrs. But i still dun really understand the game...juz that i've got more power now...and we were pretty much bz posing for pictures instead of hitting monsters.

At night, ade asked me into MS to take photo again...LoL...but somewhere, i followed her....i jumped down and got killed by the trees with axe...sigh...

And some guys are really jerks...took a cab....when i reached my destination, i didn't have small change for hte uncle. So it took us a while before i could get my change. Some jerks opened the taxi door impatiently while i was still searching for small change. And before the uncle could return me my money, the jerks were like chasing me down the cab. Didn't really hear wad they said, but it just didn't sound nice at all. Young jerks !!

My MSN messenger has been beeping. I know what the messages are about even without looking at them. Results are out. And I dare not click on that button where the results lie. I have been at that page for a long time. I have been juz lying on bed, walking around, ignoring the messages, for i fear the worst. God Bless me.

Buy becoz Sale ??

Today dad took half day leave. Intended to bring grandma to measure and buy a walking stick. Apparently, mum said that the shop was around Geylang Lorong 20+ area....we drove down the streets twice....3 pairs of eyes and yet we couldn't find the shop. hmmzz...where did it disappear to ???
No walking stick....our next stop was to Fila's warehouse sale. Today was VIP preview, which means that with the VIP card, the stuff are even cheaper. My first time going to Fila's warehouse sale. Thought can get some good deals. Just as we entered, i saw soooo many pple carrying BIG BIG bags...all filled with stuff. So i kinda anticipated that there were good deals. But it was quite disappointing la. The bags....all ugly ...except for the gym bag....but no point getting one. T-shirts, polo-tees...same ones as mum bought from the previous warehouse sale which i didn't go. Slippers....qutie comfy...very cheap...but only last pair and looked super ultra dirty. HOW TO BUY !?!?!?!? Didn't feel that i needed another pair of shoes...so juz skipped that. So end up...EMPTY HANDED !! *sadz* Really wondering how come other ppl can buy so many bags of stuff !?!?!??
Didn't know that today is already the 16th. Really didn't realise that. Time passes really fast. Maybe I was slacking too much the previous holidays. Results out tmr....dun have a good feeling about it. Even had nightmares about it. Hope i won't be in for a big shock. At least i already know that i did quite ok for my gemstones =)

Maple Story...

Well, as Ming said, I finally went to play MS with her and ade. Now i know wad's all those killing of snails about. But...i thought it was kinda boring...maybe as they said, i'm still a beginner, haven't gotten the hang of it and not use to the keys yet. I'm still all confused about the worlds they're bringing me into...and all hte funny things la...i only know that i'm supposed to kill snails at the moment.
Juz now, ade brought me to see my boss....now i'm a mage !! half-clothed...thanks to ade.. =) otherwise i'd still be looking kinda naked around all the pros....LoL Hope i can upgrade and kill other stuff besides snails soon...:p Think ming and ade quite hooked onto the game .....

What I want for Christmas...

Went to roam the shopping centre today...but bought nothing except i-weekly...LoL
Wanted to see what christmas pressies i could get for everyone...but it's really difficult to shop for the right pressies. sighh.......
In the end....i looked out for things which i really wanted. LoL
Found a nike bag...rollar blades....acoustic guitar...discman...HO HO HO ....so many things !!! I think if i walk longer, there will be more things on my list.
Ah yi said she'd get me the nike bag. Mum said she's it's either she gives me an empty box with an "I owe you" paper inside (supposed to be sapphire earrings) or she'd rather get me the guitar. Didn't think about having a new guitar. Just walked into yamaha, and looked through. Acoustic guitar is easier for strumming...or should i get a better quality classical guitar ?? Hmmzz....
Saw ppl around the neighbourhood blading...and i kinda missed the old times i went blading with my cousins when we were young. But mum thinks it'd be those 3 mins fever again. So she refuses to get me a pair of blades. Discman...she is never for any electronic goods...so...there it goes too....
WHAT I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS !??!?!
But most importantly, WHAT SHOULD I GET FOR THEM FOR CHRISTMAS ?!?!?!? any suggestions ??

A day at Home

Today...woke up slightly earlier than usual..haha...but still lazed in bed.. :p
Got some breakfast, walked around the house...sat at the comp, re-sized some pics, looked at the timetable schedule (but haven't planned much yet) and waited for lunch to arrive !!
Grandma came today coz she wanted to make sweet potato soup !! i thought that was kinda weird...thought she could do that at home too...hmmmz
Anyway, glad that she brought lunch...that saves me from searching what's available and the cooking a 1 person's meal. She helped us to cook some stuff for dinner as well...(mum should be most glad...hehe) We sat, watched tv...and when there was nothing to watch, i put on the Andy Hui and Hocc concert. Grandma left around 4.30pm...and i walked her out today. Usually, she wouldn't let me out even if i said i'd walk her out...i juz came up with excuse today. I guess she knew i was crapping. Anyway, i don't want my aunt to "accuse" me of not walking her out. Just the other day after we all JUST knew that my grandma has catarct, i was being blamed. I do insit to walk her out everytime, it's juz that she doesn't want me to. ARRGHHH
After walking around the neighbourhood, got back, picked up the guitar and started looking for hte score of 天使蓝. Got influenced by the DVD earlier on :p Hoping to one day play as well as Hocc....hehe
Then the usual...dinner and tv...but today exception...made agar agar also...hehe...double layer..white and blue =) wanted to try triple layer....but standing in front of the fire is sooo hot !!! So i gave up at the 2nd layer :p
Ming and Ade playing maple story now...so means no GB tonight ... Ming ask me hit snails....sounds so boring !!!!!!!!

This is SAmmi's new image for her new movie....she's got the mushroom hairstyle !!! haha....looks cute but for short hair, i still prefer her style during 1996-1997. Those stylish short hair....not this china mushroom head... Hope Sammi's hair will grow back soon..that's if she really cut her long hair into this !!! Seems like A LOT of hardwork has been put into this making of the movie. Sammi read the book 3 times, tried to better her mandarin for 3 months..and according to the report...she was soft-spoken during the press conference...hehe...has she already immersed into the character ??
This one seems like a very arty and serious movie....so much china history that i'm afraid i wun be able to understand it !!! Hehe...i wan to get the book too !! maybe can understand wad's going on after that ....maybe i'll try kino one of these days...but i'm NOT going down to Orchard again so soon !!! Hehe...after reading, shall pass it to Ming...so she can read also and enjoy the movie with me next year !!! LoL *evil grinz*

Treasure being alive

TODAY....went to Crystal Jade at Parkway for lunch with grandma, mum and dad. Purpose was actually to bring grandma to make a pair of specs. We all thought she was short-sighted which i thought was pretty weird at her age. Usually should be long-sighted. Anyway, brought her to Lensmen for eyecheck. Then the girl said degree almost 200 for each eye. Then said better to bring grandma to see a doctor before going back to prescribe glasses. (hmmmz prescribe medicine...glasses ??? ) When Leslie was free, the girl asked him to check again..den he said grandma most prob has cataract !!!! If serious need surgery one !! Mum said will bring her to see the eye specialist. I really hope everything will be ok for her. In the car, she still can say that it doesn't really hinder her coz she still can see. blah blah and that it's not serious ....no need see doctor so soon etc....but i believe that she really doesn't think that way. Really want her to be well.
Then went to meet ah yi for movie at cineleisure. Watched "Without a paddle".

Funny movie. All about 3 good friends on an adventure to look for some treasure which they made a pact to discover when they were young. They went on the trip to fulfill the wishes of a friend who juz passsed away. They went through many obstacles. Dangerous yet hiliarous !! I wanted to laugh heartedly...but my cough was sooo bad today that whenever i tried to laugh, i ended up coughing. I think the girl next to me was scared of me
Anyway, the treasure they found was a dead man's skeleton...but the real message behind it was that the real treasure is actually being able to be alive. Treasure life and fulfill it. New aim in life?? Perhaps....

Spa Botanica

It was my first time to Spa Bontanica at Sentosa yesterday. Reached there at about noon time....which was exactly 12pm. My auntie brought me around and showed me all the different facilities that was available. There was a little drizzle so we decided to grab a bite first . Look at my delicious sandwich !!

We got changed and started our "adventure" Brought our stuff outside and went to tryout at the mud pool...didn't take a shot of that ...but the mud was supposed to have some smoothing effect and apparently was from New Zealand. haha...*feels my skin* Just at that moment, it the drizzle came back and the rain was getting heavier.... the mud was slidding off my arms and legs....so i juz washed them off. We got some tea from the changing area and brought it outside where we were sitting. Since it was raining, couldn't tryout anything at all. So we juz sat under our umbrella and fell asleep listening to the rain drops and waterfall.

It was about nearly 45mins before the sun came out again. But the waterfall wasn't switched on anymore. We found out that it was on timer...so we decided to go to the pool to swim. I saw a couple there ...ermm..playing so childishly with the water that nobody dared to enter it to swim The pool wasn't a olympic sized one. *hmm..forgot to take a pic of it* but still quite big la...the length was quite long I haven't been exercising for a veyr long time. So it was kinda like my first time exercising since this hols...besides shopping la (if that was ever considered some kind of exercise...but there's a lot of walking involved !!!) The pool was quite deep...deepest area was 2.4m !!! very deep for a shortie like me. Anyway, i swam about 8 laps i think. But had to stop after reaching the other end...i was gasping for air !! thanks to my cough...i really sounded as if i had some lung problem After hearing the waterfall, we got outta the pool and headed straight for it !! I went under the waterfall and let the water fall on my back....*ouchiee* it kinda hurt...with that free-fall gush of water. But it felt GREAT!! haha....supposed to have some massaging effect i think. Then i juz lazed around in that water on the mat....tried sleeping on it too.

Felt restless after a while and went back to the mud-pool. Covered myself with the mud again. This time had a chance to let it dry before washing it off. Think we spent quite some time lazing around, soaking in water and mud. About 4 plus, decided it was time for shower. Although the spa doesn't allow too many people to enter per day, the cubicles were still full. And it was then that i realised i haven't tried the jacuzzi that was indoors. There was the hot and cool jacuzzi. The hot was really quite hot and cold was really cold. But since after all the water outside, i was feeling kinda cold...so i juz went to the hot jacuzzi. There was a lady inside also. But she was coming out. I think she was naked !! She wrapped a towel out unlike others who had swim wear on There was lotsa foam there. Think someone muz have dumped the soap in. The cold jacuzzi's water was all clear. Doubt anyone would have entered it anyway. So COLDDDD !!! The shower cubicles a little bit too romantic la... so dark !! can't even see properly wad i which bottle of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel i was taking. They provide new bottles for each guest and they actually smelt quite good !! Think got some herbal stuff not like in hotels give u those cheap cheap thing.
After a good shower, there was still time left before the bus came and brought us back to Paragon. Walked around the area and took some pics. Nice experience...wouldn't mind going back there again. Hopefully it wouldn't rain the next time !

BBQ at Laguna Park

Today...was bbq day at Lady's house...Laguna Park...went to meet Ade first then joined Alvin and Lady at NTUC.....sat in Lady's car with her driving for the first time....quite an experience i must say. Also the first time hearing Lady saying her most vulgar word..."shit" Then we went to Lady's house. 15th story with a fantastic sea view !! so jealous !! No need to switch on fan or air-con. So windy and nice...
Then we starting working in the kitchen...i made the agar agar !! hehe...1st time Christmas colours !! And when i told my mum that , she said next time i can do it myself and she wouldn't do anything. Alvin the model with agar agar ...

Alvin, Ade marinated the chicken fillet...which tasted quite good after bbq-ing We waited and waited and waited for Qingyi who had all the other stuff. Think we finally started the fire at almost 8 ?? But the fire went on quite well....thanks to the guys We finally had food to eat !!! I didn't really bother about my runny nose or TB-like cough. Juz ATE !! haha...as Ming always say "yi du gong du".
We had A LOT to eat ....so much until we had to resort to our usual "zhong ji mi ma". Well, Ade suggested the game and haha....she ended up having to eat the most food !!! The guys were exploring the sting-rays... heard someone said he tried all the pieces...lol

We managed to cook everything.....but not eat everything...haha... The last batch of food looked the best...haha...no african food...at one time, we were all eating super black stuff....*eewwwww* Presenting our hardworking bbq-ers...dear Aba and Michelle

Incredibles

Today went out with Ming and her sis for movie....The Incredibles!! We thought the show was ending should have alot of seats....but we were wrong !!! It was still full house !!! quite funny la the show....not too bad. But Mr Incredible a little bit too big sized la !! The children were the best !! hehe....the baby jack jack was sooooooo adorable !!! Dash was cutie too...although a little bit mischevious.
Before the movie, we went to take neoprint to kill the 1/2 hour we had...haha...so many kind of stupid poses...and we had a ACT CUTE pose !! OMGGG !!! LoL Ming said neoprint muz act cute den will look good...hmmmzz

Then we went to kino to change Ming's book...magic...haha...from 1 book become 3 books !! She exchanged the SHE pictorial for a da vinci code and 2 comics... den we went for dinner...DELIFRANCE !!
After dinner my nose started running....as if it was in some marathon. And by the way, it is still dripping at this moment !! YUCKSSSS Hate getting sick. can't enjoy anything i do. Went shopping with mum for christmas gifts. Didn't really enjoyed as i wasn't feeling too good....
Came home....rested, watched tv and fell asleep. Then came online...me and ming played GB !! haha....and i hereby announce that we (luvmyolie + daroz) are the BEST RANDOM GB TEAM !! WOOT !!! we practically won every game and we were using our worse bots !! Ming even did a 3 time bunge in a game !!! Very interesting....

To catch the Uncatchable !

Just finished the last episode of 棟篤神探. Didn't expect the ending to be a tragic one. It was an open ending...meaning anyone could interprate anything. But i felt that any normal person would think that Investigator Mok (Tung) would have died even before taking his wedding pictures with Lady Long (Vivi).

It was only until the end that Vivi realise she is in love with Tung despite of all his shortcomings. She had the perfect man Jim in front of her, but she knew he wasn't the right man for her. So she tried all means to turn him down. Just when Tung and Vivi had a chance to get together, something bad had to happen. Vivi was suspected of assualting Jim and was detained for investigation. Tung tried his best to help Vivi but got himself injured and into a coma for about more than a month. It was so heart-wrenching to see how Vivi cared for Tung and stayed by him all these while and even promised to marry him in his coma condition. But he eventually did wake up but was told that his blood clot had shifted to a very dangerous spot. He could collapse and die any moment. He asked Kim to keep it a secret as he didn't want his loved ones to be sad from that moment. He rather them be happy now and only sad after he leaves.
The ending shows them getting prepared for their wedding photo shots. But the camera was faulty and had to be repaired. While taking a rest, Tung saw a thief and gave chase. He run despite of his asthma and for the first time he caught the thief. He called Vivi and said he would be back in 5 mins. However, it showed his phone falling down the stairs and him lying down. I would have guessed he died as the wedding pictures didn't show him.

This was supposed to be a comedy but yet the last episode was a tragedy. Why ?? why did that happen ?? Vivi just wanted a man she loved and a man who loved her and wanted to get married before 30. But just as i was despaired, i went into TVB's website and found a new ending to the story. It showed that Tung did not die and actually went back to finish up the wedding photo shots. Happy ending in the end !!
