Dark Sky...
10th day @ work
Got my free latte today =) heehe...drank it really slowly today....
i finished the stack of data entries which were given to me...but i was given another huge stack to do after that *sighh* when will i get to try editing ??? =(
The only good thing was when my mentor passed me the other stack, it was about 4.20pm. She told me i could start keying data tmr !!!! Which meant i had nearly 40mins of free time...and all i did was talk to the ppl around me and chat with Suen and Ding ding =) If only everyday also got 40 mins of freee time...
The most memorable thing that happened today....at around 3pm, the sky started to darken. It has been raining almost everyday and it always gives us that sleepy feeling .... L commented that the sky last week was even darker... we all went back to our work... suddenly i looked up... i was shocked.... the sky was really really really dark !!!! We all looked out ....it could only turn darker...and soon we couldn't even see the buildings opposite....it was pitch dark outside !!! Pretty scary.... Felt as if it was night time. i was being crappy...i suddenly said: "Looks like we have all been veyr hardworking today...all doing OT until 3am...LOL... sun going to rise soon...tmr all no nid work le... coz we OT so long today" Stupid it may sound, but it brought about conversation and laughter in that dead room of ours.... hahaha....
I wonder if it was the same in the other parts on SG.... Of course it was raining cats and dogs for a good half hour !!
It suddenly dawned on me when i was on the bus with mum... we were talking about the dark sky we both saw. And this thought juz came.... what happens if that dark sky was meant to be a "tsunami-like" thingy... 1 swipe and whole of SG will be gone.... Will the world end this way ???

me in basement level...no windows so no can see sky dark or not...but could hear thunder n feel the room getting colder lol
yung: hmm...read somewhere and ppl were discussing whehter a tsuanmi will hit us... the thought was kidna scary...cannot imagine the situation!!!! The sky here was totally dark !!!! pitch dark !!!
how could tsunami hit us! we are surrounded by land mass!
bleh...so does tt mean if got tsunami i b e first to go since i juz live practically beside the sea?

Come live with me at this very instant. I live near Bukit Timah Hill...if tsunami hits, then we run to the highest point in SG!!!

ming...u think the highest point is like mount everest ahh ??? if u can survive on top of bukit timah hill...very good for u...
but if a tsunami really hits us...i think u hide where also no use !
tsunami...eh u think how high can it get? taking the sea water vol around sg... it will get no bigger than 3 m.
u see the hollywood movie, US kena hit by super giant wave, that is because they have the whole altantic ocean in the eastern side and pacific ocean in the western side.
But i still stand by my point, we wont get hit by tsunami. it is akin to having sahara desert getting hit by flood
